For some reason steam wont download maps anymore so when i try and join a server playing a map I dont have it disconnects...any ideas?

I don't know other than that, it always downloads them for me when I join still. Maybe it's just somethign to do with the servers you connect to?

Make sure these cvars are set correctly:
cl_downloadfilter "nosounds"
cl_allowdownload "1"

Open up console and type: cl_downloadfilter "nosounds"

Or, open up your config.cfg or autoexec.cfg (in whereverSteamIs\SteamApps\yourUserName\counter-strike source\cstrike\cfg) and add that to it
