So on Thursday night (8th of MAR) I saw something that I've been mulling over in my head for awhile:

I was leaving a local mall just after dinner time and saw a group of five 12-15 year olds (we'll call them group A) run across the parking lot and throw something at the car ahead of me, containing two 15-17 year olds (group B). So B gets pissed off, stops their car and get out (with me immediately behind) and the two groups commence what can best be described as a dance-off for the next 5 minutes. I believe they thought it was a fight, but damn...just damn.

I sat in my car though almost the whole thing looking bored. I figured the best thing for these kids is that they get smacked around a little and wouldnt interviene unless there was the life/limb/eysight threat. Eventually it was broken up by a random parent and the mall security that came screeching in in their mall-car thing.

As I've been thinking of this for the last couple days I've come to a couple conclusions:
1) Kids now have filthy fucking mouths. I can swear and curse. There are some words I don't use. I heard "Nigger" more damn times in that 5 minutes then I could count, and there was a whole mix of races between the 2 groups. I think kids now don't understand/believe-in the racial context of that word and think it's just an insult? If I ever talked like that as a kid my dad would have spanked the shit out of my ass.

2) Kids have no fucking clue how to fight anymore. Congrats America, you have pussified an entire fucking generation. I HOPE that the children in other states stll idolize John Wayne and G.I. Joe, because aparently in IA all they do is fucking watching Glee and High School Musical. They really spent 5 minutes dancing around eachother, and only had 1 connecting bitch-slap in the entire thing (one guy from group B took a slap to the mouth, didnt even break his lip open). If it's up to the kids here in the next 10 years we'll just settle our disputes with Iran and N Korea a la "Bring It On".

I'm not saying I'm any kind of badass or that I was the worlds toughest kid (or that I even made it to the middle of the pack), but damn, really people? This is what you have raised?
