back on topic: saw this last night, enjoyed. Easier to follow then momento, but i felt the main character shared a lot of the same struggles in both films.

Great movie. It's been a while since I've seen something with such an original story.

Since Distrikt 9, i do believe..

Blech, district 9 blew serious donkey nuts. "I know, lets make a movie that only covers 1/8th of the actual storyline and is just a conglomeration of a shitload of other scifi movies! Then we won't even have it be the first or last part, but just a random section in the middle!"

And every alien is a dumbass except one of them who is super smart. Oh also, when the drop ship falls from the mother ship and "mysteriously" vanishes... yeah who would ever think to look UNDERGROUND?? Yeah me neither.

District 9 had some cool stuff but the story was pretty stupid

I can't believe that... District 9 was the best movie of 2009, hands down. (Although, I guess I should point out that it was one of... 3ish movies I saw in 2009...)

the lead in district 9 was so annoyingly idiotic i couldn't believe the character, nor could I bring myself to care about him.

also, lol @ black people being racist. that's definitely the best part of the movie.
