In Left 4 Dead and some forms of CS:GO, Smoke and I have had problems where one of us can connect to the server but the other's client pretends the server does not exist, and never connects at all. Sabs is the man, and found the fix: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_art ... -QPHJ-3567 I've had it open in a tab to post here for like a month, and am just now getting around to it. Bite me.

wonder if this would unfuck magicka 1 for y'all. or was it the same problems even when not playing together?

Pretty sure the Magicka 1 problems were actual crashes of the program, not network weirdness.

well at first. but then they fixed a lot of stuff and it was mostly just you and smoke crashing together.

iirc, dime crashed just as much as we did near the end which is why he uninstalled? idk tho, it's been like 5 years.

I remember being the only one to crash the last several times we tried, but those times were without Dime because 8:00 bedtime and whatnot.
