Yeah, there is also an epic trench coat in Maine that, no matter how fat I get, always seems to fit. There is a general throw-down into the living room to the coat rack, even before we turn on the power at the cabin, for dibs on that coat. +300 Fishing Skill.

Damn it. Every time I call a company ready to chew everyone some new rectums, I get a polite lady who speaks clearly and resolves the problem immediately.

My annual hate letter to Sports Illustrated, to which you're automatically subscribed when you get a subscription to MLB Online Audio (it's free but auto-renewing when the free period runs out, and you have no choice but to receive the free issues and you have to go out of your way to cancel so as not to be charged):
Quote:
I detest your company and I hate that I can't sign up for MLB Audio without receiving 14 issues (or whatever) of what I consider junk mail, along with myriad email spam and your default sharing of my addresses with TIME partners.

Sports Illustrated has good journalism, but TIME and everything it owns is full of liberal, modernist horseshit and is out to make a buck above all. Even if it weren't, SI's execrable flaunting of pornography in the form of the "swimsuit edition" (on the cover of which I see less and less swimsuit every year the damnable thing is on displays) is reason enough to boycott SI and every company having anything to do with it. Anyone who's dealt with SI knows that it has no regard for customers, but the "swimsuit edition" indicates that it has no regard for human life as well, and will gladly subjugate men to their disordered passions and women to the same, in order to make more money.

Just like last year, I would like to receive all of the free issues so as to cost SI as much money as possible, but no more beyond that. I've already issued an online cancellation to my "subscription" (not that I recall subscribing to one damned thing). I would also like you to take me off the list of consumers whose personal information you can share with your money-whoring partners without their (the consumers') knowledge or consent. I tried to issue this request via the online form, but it didn't work. No surprise there; why would it? Does anyone ever find their way to it anyway?

I do not anticipate SI developing any regard for consumers, so I'm sure you'll hear the same from me again next year. I ask that you, the customer service representative reading this email, not take personal offense to it but rather forward my hatred up the chain of filthy, corrupt profligates.

Here's an average packet sent from a CSS server to the client, in hex code (38 bytes):
Code:
9f 01 00 00 10 01 00 00 00 00 83 67 00 00 40 3b a6 ce 00 00 c0 01 94 01 00 91 fd 0c 00 00 a4 1e 80 23 73 10 73 00
Here's the first packet of a Glock fountain (170 bytes):
Code:
75 04 00 00 e6 03 00 00 00 01 43 c2 00 00 40 3b 26 84 01 00 40 04 28 10 40 91 55 18 00 00 a4 38 45 80 e9 1b 18 a7 70 f9 08 05 ec 12 ef 00 8e 6c 43 6c 03 b0 43 04 1a 83 08 b6 14 2e 1d a1 53 b8 74 84 2a 85 cb 47 48 b6 79 04 41 db 13 02 77 04 88 79 c3 87 1e 15 12 7c ff ff ff ff fa c9 e9 36 4f 20 58 7b 43 e6 68 80 79 d5 c8 bc 0c 20 e8 b4 63 7f 6b 93 55 a2 7d d7 83 ee 7f 3f f6 4f 09 92 9c 1e fd 69 f5 ba 04 da 12 8d 48 fa ff ff eb ff ff 97 9d 78 4c 51 00 ff ff 7f a2 80 30 80 01 e8 1c 1c 6a 94 10 81 78 88 1f 00
... the entire fountain is that times about two hundred. lawl.

If everyone posted as much as I do, I'd be less bored all the time.
