Dont install this until absolutely nescessary. I installed it and now almost nothing works. I tried several servers and the ingame server select screen is all screwy with all the names and player numbers constantly changing.
I saw on server with a 2500 ping.
I was able to join one server while two made Battlefield and Special Forces crap out to windows.
However, it appears that there is a new feature in which the commander can drop vehicles to your position.

i just tried it again and got bounced from the server twice by connection problems which didnt affect xfire. It also really lags sometimes for everyone in the server

It's probably either:

A European server (did they respond to your query with "si","oui", and/or "ja"?)

Your crappy PC ruining the server for everyone else. Either way, fix it.

It is a server that worked great before the 1.3 patch
