From doubleclicking to start the game, it takes me approx 15 seconds to the point where I can load a list of servers to join.

It takes me approximatly 45 seconds to join a server.

From there, you can take whatever you feel.

BTW, in the set of tips at the end, their link to the Performance Checker manager is stupidly broken and requires Windows Genuine validation anyway. Direct link: http://download.microsoft.com/download/ ... _setup.exe

I ran most of the "top 10 twikes". My system's performance proceeded to take it in the shorts. Running spybot now to rule that out, but did anyone else try these and get any problems?

Before I forget, did you turn Hyper Thread'n back on? The latest Steam update purports to have fixed the 100% CPU issues.
