Supports up to 8 player coop. Looks cool to me. Comes out in like a week.

Enjoyed it at Quakecon last year, just needs post-launch support and a multiplayer community (which was missing due to the steep learning curve of Splash Damage's last offering, ETQW). Also needs to not be on Steam because I don't like renting games from gaben.

I've been thinking about touching its plop-plop.

i've heard nothing but hype. To me, it looks like just another FPS, so i'm in wait and see mode.

Good news and bad news.

Gameplay is like a cross between Unreal and BC2.
The AI is fucking retarded, definitely meant to be played online vs real humans.
If you don't have a beefy computer you won't be able to run it. My current machine cant really keep up. Below 10 FPS in big action sequences.

If you can run it on your machine, it will be fun.

Mixed reviews on Metacritic. Think I'll pass on this one.

From the reviews I've read it has some pretty big gameplay flaws. If they manage to patch this up and really turn it around, I'd consider buying, but so far it sounds like a rough release that I'll pass on.

^^ yep, give that a try if you're on ATI, hapy. Also, give human vs. human multiplayer a try and let us know what you think. It sounds like the consensus is that single player sucks, but opinions of multiplayer seem to range from "not very good" to "great." A lot of the bad reviews seem to have been made off the prerelease x360 version. Still keeping an eye on this.

I'm with Sabs. As with anything else, if the MP has potential, I'd like to get into it with the clawn.

Also, I think Hogg requested a L4D night. As with any request, I propose we respect it and do not alter it.
