It's like Games for Windows, but it actually provides a service I want *rimshot*.

So I want to have the Mew (wife name) try more games.
She's had a love affair with the Sims series, WoW, Children of the Nile, and Plants vs Zombies.

Currently she's trying Fable 3.
She didn't like Torchlight, Warhammer or CoH, or any FPS.

Based on what you know about women and/or games do the rest of you have any recommendations?
Does your significant other have any particular favorites they recommend?

Too bad. Tell her she WILL like Diablo 3, or I will personally drive up there and smack her away from WoW to play with us. I have nothing against hitting women; I lived in Memphis for 4 years. Don't make me tell her twice...

Mew says, "Suck my dick. I will make it my life goal to hate Diablo 3 because you say I have to like it. You have to come up here so I can kick your pussy-whooped ass".

So there's that.

I'll be selling tickets if any of you want to attend.

By the way, if you knew her you'd know that that was fucking hilarious.

one thing I learned - never tell a woman that you think she'll like something. she won't. Not to spite you, but because she knows you're a dumbass.

That reminds me, I forgot to update everyone on how that game turned out:

It sucked ass. Did not even make it far enough into the game to see a single horse.

Sorry for the burned $10, dime :(

You played a horse-raising game and never got to see a single horse? What'd you do; shovel shit out of digital stables for 3 hours?

There was so much dialog / cut scenes, a lot of which were half in English and half in Polish, I think. Plus the controls were really awkward to get used to; it took like 20 minutes to walk around one scene. I bored, but it was still nice of dime to buy it for me :)

I think you should have to reinstall and play until horse-breeding time. Then screen cap and post. It's the only way you can make it up to Dime.

Ashley loves Minecraft. She prefers playing alone so she can spelunk and gather diamonds and breed animals and grow wheat to her heart's content.

She also plays Amnesia because she likes a good scare. Though she doesn't ever get scared by it she still likes the atmosphere.

I had a hunch that she would enjoy Skyrim but I didn't buy it for her because I want her to graduate from veterinary school.

she also liked Plants vs Zombies a lot, and Poker Night at the Inventory. But those were not purchased for her so she would graduate veterinary school.

Minecraft was the next thing I was going to try for her.
We were listening to the Game Informer podcast on a trip home and they were talking about the "official" release.
She liked a lot of what she heard.

She beat all those games a long time ago.
Achievement unlocked.
Now they sit in their places, on a shelf, accumulating dust.
