Found out through petergraves that they offer a demo for xbox/ps3 of this. Just checked it out and I'm impressed. Has much of the feel of the tv series, plays like an interactive comic book. If you've got a console recommend checking the demo.

Just finished off chapter 1 (the only released of 5 planned). Amounts to 1 to 1&1/2 hours of play time. Solid 'walking dead' story telling, fun play style. Lots of "dammed it you do / dammed if you don't" choices that affect who lives/dies/how people view you.

Basically an episode of Walking Dead in "Choose your own adventure" style.

you know, you all keep posting the same but:

A) this game has minimal controls period. You play it for the story, not the controls or "tight responsive hit-detection".

B) It's the exact same thing that's offered for PC through steam.

C) Put the above two together and it negates any differences between console/pc versions. Just a quick review of a bit of entertainment.

D) I know you all read all the way through the thread anyway and you're doing it again now, so with all due respect: go fuck yourselves.

today we played left 4 dead, the parish. we listened to the radio chatter before the final bridge run. the army guys asked "are they whiskey delta, or are they friendly?"

We googled "whiskey delta" but it didn't help. Then Hogg said that it must stand for Walking Dead.

2nd episode of this was released at the very tail end of June. 3rd will probably be late july or early august. Still a very solid game, yet based on a very different playstyle. The writing is a little...easy to guess at? Kinda like watching "The Game of Thrones" and thinking: 'I bet he's gonna die!'. Regardless still an entertaining one with choices that actually affect the gameplay (i.e. you choose which of 2 characters you save).
