fawk THAT shit.

I wish more organizations were like the Patriots. 1 questionable move in like.. 6 years. Ever since Scott Paoli took over, shits been done right. We have never overpayed a player, never let good players walk without replacing them with as good/better players (until this year)...

Patriots are one of the richest organizations in the league, but do not throw it around. They understand the fucking game and fucking chemistry and how the pieces fit together to make a team. Why is that so hard to figure out?

gfg rant.

Sox ink Hernandez
By Boston.com Staff

The Red Sox added another pitcher today, signing free-agent righthander Runelvys Hernandez to a Triple-A contract and inviting him to spring training.

The 28-year-old Hernandez was released by the Royals earlier this month after struggling through much of the season. He was 6-10 with a 6.48 ERA in 21 starts with the Royals, though he did have a five-start stretch from Aug. 10-Sept. 1 in which he recorded a 2.88 ERA and a 3-1 record.

Hernandez, who missed the 2004 season after ligament replacement surgery, is 25-33 with a 5.38 ERA in his 78 career starts with Kansas City over four seasons.

Information from the Red Sox media relations department was used in this report.

Hahaha. Hope the Red Sox have adequate bonbon stockpiles.

you forget we kept David Wells happy for 2 years... also, we had the infamous Rich "El Guapo" Garces for several years.

Don't forget Roger Clemens early 90's girth...

We have more then enough bon-bons to go around.

Yeah, but I got all my drinking out of the way the night before. I just couldn't justify killing my hangover with a beer in public at 10 AM.

lawl, look what i found on glitter graphics...

for those that don't know, this is one of the top prospects for the Red Sox during the mid 90's Isreal (Izzy) Alcontara... He was gonna be the future of the sox, until this little incident...

Image

He was being intentionally thrown at by a pitcher who was a known headhunter, and had been told by the catcher during the pregame that they were gonna throw at him because he took his time admiring a home run during the previous meeting of the two teams...

So Izzy, during his first at bat, had 3 balls thrown at his person. After the 3rd, this is a small snapshot of his reaction, towards the end you can see him charging the mound. He basically kicked the catcher in the facemask, and wiffed at the pitcher and it ended up ruining his career. He was traded after his suspension was up, (possibly to the mets, or the jays.) and spent the rest of his short career in the minors.
