It was 38-0 Okie St. at halftime, btw. So don't be fooled by the final score, they kicked the shit out of us. |

Cal #1, eh? Nope, think I'm done with college football for a while.Death, taxes, and Cal is a joke. The balls almost touched there for College Football, but thankfully the Beavs took care of Cal. Which means the default #1 is.......hmm. I guess better Ohio State than Boston fucking College. Go South Florida! |

last post, i promise. Hey, a new record! http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/recap?gameId=272860158 Quote: Callahan, who signed a five-year contract last month, said he wasn't concerned about his job security. Just last season, Nebraska play in the Big 12 title game.
don't they bored?Quote: Osborne, who coached Nebraska to three national titles, tried to rally the Huskers in a speech to the team Friday. He trotted onto the field with his '97 team before the game, and after a video tribute, the '97 Huskers waited on the sideline to greet the '07 players as they ran out of the tunnel.
*snort* what the fuck do you say? "Guys, I know you're not nearly as talented as your opponents, and your coaches suck dick at coaching. NOW GO GET EM TIGER!"Any inspiration faded quickly. Oklahoma State was up 17-0 before Nebraska picked up a first down. Also, most of the people let go of their red balloons when the Huskers got their first first down. |

The worst past is, they are more talented than Ok. State by a decent margin, and more talented than Mizzou as well. So 41-6 and 45-14 makes a lot of sense. I think the thing that bothers me the most is the pride thing. If some dude walked up to me on the street and started repeatedly kicking me in the balls, sure, I'd probably crumple into a heap at first and cry like a bitch, but eventually I'd get sick of it and get up to kick back. The 'skers? They just crumple and cry and don't seem to give a shit. You've gotta want it. |

Here's what Kent State's coach said about the Ohio State game:Also, most of the people let go of their red balloons when the Huskers got their first first down. "We've got to come out of this game healthy so we can finish our conference schedule effectively," Martin said. "Playing everybody is a must for us on both sides of the ball. "We'll play (backup quarterback Anthony) Magazu in this game for sure. … (Starting quarterback Julian) Edelman has taken some shots the last couple of weeks, and we need to freshen him up for this upcoming stretch. So when we go with the second group, that entire second group is going in. "By the third or fourth series, we'll go ahead and rotate those guys in. Definitely by the time the second quarter begins, we'll have those guys in." |

Michigan State (5-2) @ #1 Ohio State (7-0) Normally this would be an assumed no-brainer what with Ohio State's dominating defense and MSU dropping two straight. But a needed pick-me-up to prove MSU wasn't doing their standard collapse in the 2nd half with a blowout win against Indiana may change matters. On top of that, what happens when the opposing team coach knows every member on the offense and practically created the defense for the opposing team? The sweatervest takes on the pupil in what could be the largest upset alert for Ohio State prior to Michigan. #2 South Florida (6-0) @ Rutgers (4-2) South Florida comes into the birthplace of college football with a two headed rushing attack in Matt Grothe (QB) and Benjamin Williams. However, Rutger's rushing defense will be looking to contain them using line stunts and expect them to beat them in the air. South Florida will have to watch out for the blitzing attack and look to release the ball fast. #17 Auburn (5-2) @ #4 LSU (6-1) With the loss to Kentucky fresh in their minds, the LSU Tigers are either going to find motivation or are going to be downtrodden. Auburn looks to upset the top two teams in the SEC as of last year in an attempt to also repeat last year. #15 Florida (4-2) @ #7 Kentucky (6-1) Simply considered an upset due to rankings but Florida looks to avenge their losses and prove they still belong in the upper echelon of college football. Kentucky is attempting to justify that they are no longer just a basketball school. Will Tebow win on this one or will he end up choking? #10 Oregon (5-1) @ Washington (2-4) Washington was able to keep up with USC and lost out due to clock management. Oregon plays USC next week. Expect Willingham to have his team ready. Will Oregon be looking ahead and ignoring this supposed sleeper game? #14 USC (5-1) @ Notre Dame (1-6) Notre Dame is looking to make their record against the Pac10 2-0. The target on USC's back is now larger than ever as Stanford showed that even the little guys can beat the mighty Trojans. Ever since the Washington game, they haven't looked as dominate as years before. |

My team's the Redskins. I'm a D.C. transplant who went to Ohio State for college.owned That being said, technically I'm 1 hour from the Bengals so if I had to pick an Ohio team, it would be them. |
