p.s. ultros: there's a walkthrough on farms online somewhere. should be able to google it. they're not -that- hard to do, and very critical to your survival, since one dwarf can produce way more food doing it than any other way. Also, it allows you to produce beer which increases everyone's efficiency. the hardest thing I found was making sure the hunter hauled all his fucking meat back to the goddamn butcher, and getting it butchered before it rotted. i think that's why I really ended up quitting, because the dwarves are just so goddamn stupid. i'm not a fan of micromanaging, and that's the entire game. |

Ok figured it out ended up having to put in a flood gate and then no one would go to my farm which somehow makes plants grow without sunlight. This is why i was having so much trouble. I assumed a farm would need to be outside where there might be a crucial element to farming......sunlight. as this is not that case i can contuniue to play this damn game for my 3rd straight shift on this goddamn rig where people didicule me for playing dwarf castle game thing. Also I looked at the shitty help file thing and i cant find out how to delete roads. Anyone done this? |

Dude, you're gonna start really getting pissed when your dwarves get a mood and start murdering everyone when they can't fulfill it. One of my dwarves got a mood that I couldn't fulfill, so he ran into the jungle, caught a shitload of fish, brough them back into my fortress and threw them all over the barracks. Then he wouldn't let anyone in, and just sat on top of this massive pile of fish, starving to death. I laughed. |
