This is from some night last week where Sabs, Posi, myself, and one more (Smith?) we're owning a server and repeated swapped teams to even things out (still winning dispite the ass-whooping we had been laying down on the team prior to the swap). My one screen-cap of the night turned out too nicely not to post: Attachment: Suicide Brigade ReducedSize.png [ 332.47 KiB | Viewed 17892 times ] |

I was there when we did that once. So have we done that twice now? Because when I was there I was the one that said SUICIDE BRIGADE, ATTACK! or did we both say it that one time? |

Was a different night...I usually let the more senior members call for the Suicide Brigade...we were only at 3 or 4 of us around (you weren't) the night of the picture.

Recognize most of these...lets see... Quote: Rumored new weapon list for CQ:
Tired...will finish tomorrow.
AUG Assault Rifle (think bad guy from Die Hard) ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Steyr_Aug Moderate damage, little recoil, quick acquisition. Engineer or Assault. SCAR Assault Rifle ![]() http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SCAR_L They already have the SCAR-H (Heavy, or 7.62mm) for the engie, so I assume this is the SCAR-L (Light, 5.56mm). Probably assault for variety. ACW-R Carbine ![]() Frankenstein of ideas (grabbed parts/concepts from G3, M16, SCAR, G36, MP5, etc) that is being pitched as a possible replacement for the M16. MTAR-21 Carbine http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MTAR-21 Israli bullpup. Very fast cyclic rate, decent everything else. Probably engie. M417 Sniper Rifle Attachment: lg_hk417_11.jpg [ 54.23 KiB | Viewed 17834 times ] H&K 7.62mm rifle based on the M4 design. Bit of recoil, but fast acquisiton, still decent at CQB. JNG-90 Sniper Rifle Bolt-action Sniper rifle...Turkish...don't know squat else about it. L86LSW Machine Gun Attachment: L86%20LSW.jpg [ 22.6 KiB | Viewed 17833 times ] LSAT Machine Gun ![]() Lightweight Small Arms Technologies Had to read up on this one. Still in development. Machine Gun that uses caseless ammo currently under design/research for US armed forces. Best guess on gameplay is similar to M249, quicker acquisition, but slower cyclic rate. M5K Tactical Machine Pistol Attachment: lg_mp5k.jpg [ 19.37 KiB | Viewed 17834 times ] Best guess: They're talking about H&K's MP5K submachine gun. Given EA's lack of attaching brand names...I can find nothing else. Should be very similar to MP7. SPAS-12 Shotgun http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPAS_12 (Sporting Purpose Automatic Shotgun) Think jurassic park or L4D2 manhammer. Semi-auto (in real life..guessing that's what they're after here as counterpart to 870). Probably slightly faster firing (or more pellets) with a wider spread then 870. |

Good info Teaks. Convinced me to make a post on the new weapons. I tried to dig up as much info as I could on how the weapons will relate to gameplay, such as round capacity, fire rate, etc... if you see anything inaccurate, let me know. http://bftips.com/2012/05/close-quarter ... -gun-info/ |

Did a quick look earlier, but really looking now. Couple things:http://bftips.com/2012/05/close-quarter ... -gun-info/ MTAR-21...I'm not positive on clip size on this one. I seem to remember this having a slightly larger clip (42 or something?) Just read more...looks like conversions to 9mm are common with clip sizes of 20/25/32. Picks up a cyclic rate of 1200 rpm then. friggen on par with the old German MG42's. M5K: I think standard mags here are still 30 rds...might be extendible to 40, but I believe they still use the standard MP5 mag (30rds x 9mm para). I was going to question the 30 rd mags on the L86LSW, but see accurate with more reading. Also noted that wiki listed common uses as more of a long-range accuracy weapon. Interesting modified use of a LMG. |

Who at DICE do I need to blow for that?I don't think there are technically any differences in game, but i always seem to miss alot when i use the tac light or silenced 1911. Prefer the unadulterated version. |

Teaks - you need to find a DICE employee on a server who has that equipped and shoot them if necessary. Then, pick up their kit. You then get to use the 1911 S-Tac only until you die. I think your odds of getting decent playtime with it would be best if you just hit one of the DICE guys up on twitter and offered blowies. And agent, the accuracy is the same for the tac, suppressed, and standard versions. Damage is equal between tac and non-tac. The suppressed versions have a shorter minimum damage dropoff distance and slower bullet travel, so you really want to avoid engagements beyond 20 feet with them. Most non-suppressed pistols do full damage up until about 30. Wish there was another website I could add this info to. |

Good info, thanks. that explains why i felt they didn't perform the same.I think i'm just going to practice more with the g18. I gave it another chance last night and it went well. And if i need distance I can just flip it to semi-auto. |
