So you see why I was confused.

But I'll agree with you that, sure, the police should be cracking down like they're niggers and it's the 1960s, but instead the police are preemptively surrendering. Big surprise!

My point is that the article you linked was filled with hyperbole and theory put forward as fact. That kind of shit is what leads to polarization and fanaticism.

So to be safe, whenever I hear hyperbole, i do my own research.
