I logged into Gameday Audio today and a video advertisement played over the
page. This must be a mistake, as I did not pay to watch video
advertisements. Just thought you might like to know so you can correct the
problem.

Paying to watch video advertisements was not in the terms of service to which I agreed, nor was it one of the features advertised by MLB in the Gameday Audio page. Here are those features currently:

2011 Season Features
$19.99 / year
Every Regular Season game LIVE online
Every Postseason game LIVE online
Home, away and alternate feeds
(where available)
Full game archives
NO blackouts!

Here is a list that would be more accurate:

2011 Season Features
$19.99 / year
Every Regular Season game LIVE online
Mandatory video advertisements
Every Postseason game LIVE online
Home, away and alternate feeds
(where available)
Full game archives
NO blackouts!
NO disabling video advertisements!

You said that "as of now" the video advertisements are included with the service. They were not included in the terms of service as of the time that I entered a service agreement with you, and as far as I can tell, they still are not. Please disable the advertisements (or make them optional), or offer some other way to stop breaching the terms of your service agreement so customers have recourse to something other than courts or arbitration.

Also, please start being more honest with your customers. I remember this same thing happening two years ago, and customer service was just as unresponsive then. I can't think of a single other company who has undertaken this kind of negative change in service without a compromise or at least notification for their customers.

Fuck no, that's too much trouble. And they're going to do whatever they want to do, with no consequences. The best I can hope for is a full refund, but then I also want to listen to day games at work, so the most likely case is that I'll just keep getting fucked up the ass by them.

Just occasionally, though, being a thorn in an asshole company's side gets me what I actually want. So we'll see.

You could be an attorney with the strongly worded letters you write. If you're on any MLB forums you could suggest others bitch along with you - that wouldn't be much work, but large numbers are more likely to have an effect.

Also why I request paper AND digital bills and invoices, so that they will lose money (even if its just cents). Nothing will change, because they have the money to buy anti-compete laws (http://www.engadget.com/2011/05/22/nc-g ... cipal-bro/) but my tiny little protests get me at least a small morsel of satisfaction.

I bought a case of Molsen at the Japanese grocery store and the asian lady rang it up twice but I didnt notice so them I go backa few days later with the receipt and she is all like, "OH SO SORRY, THERE NOTHING I CAN DO NOW. In my office at work, I man the front desk 95% of the time we're in business. I work at an advising office for my lollege, and we get about 2,000 students coming in our office throughout the course of one semester. Since I've worked here, there have been five or six guys who frequent my office that are annoying as hell... whenever I see them coming down the hallway, all my mind can render is the phrase, "HERE COMES THE DICKHEAD SINGING".
