Yeah, books are usually better than the movies. Usually. For an example of an exception, I'm thinking of that scene in Scilence of the Lambs where Clarice is knocking on Wild Bill's door at the same time as the SWAT team guys are knocking on the door of who they thought was the killer. Certain scenes are just better served in film. Most, though, are better served with "lol werds". |

well the Spartans go and fight some people and they discover how to make fire...then they decide to fight naked since they are so buff. Both Kings decided to play a game of stick ball in order to determine the winner of the battle. The Spartan King decides to just stab the other King with the stick. He follows through and in a default he wins. The movie flashes to the future where Halo is made and the Spartans take on the epic challenge of defeating the Covenant and the Flood...all in all it was a rather epic Movie... |

So, my retrospective blabber: Frickin' sweet. But I disagree with some claims that it is the best movie ever [omgwtfbbq]. I have liked other movies more, but it is something inventive and therefore cannot be compared like apples to oranges, as it is more like apples to some jacked-up pomegranate/kiwi/watermelon/cumquat(hahaaaa, quat)/zebra hybrid. |
