Hell I remember playing the buggiest game in the world. That would be CS .2 or .3+. Back when the colt had a scope and we had a weapon choice of like 4 guns. Played the shit out of that too.In short: be prepared to try. if you don't want to try, then don't bother. And remember how buggy the CSS beta was? This is worse. However, if you miss the tactical shooter days of CS 1.5 where you had to be quiet, sneaky, quick, and accurate to survive, (and most servers were capped at 18 players), then this will fill that hole well (or even better). At least it will in another 6 months when they actually get to release quality. heh. I have a job interview to go to that I'm not too interested in. After that I am free to try it out today a bit after lunch. |

First glance basic training made about bust a blood vessel in my brain due to the bugs. Basic feel is a dumbed down free version of COD4 with more potential and less solo. This is what i expected counter-strike to be when source came out. It is very hard to diferentiate enemies from team mates though. The controls are horrible locks up a lot. I will give it some time to get patched up. I think I will play this game more. |

Steam opened a Family Gaming section. So now after 7-year-olds are done playing a game of Hannah Montana's Dress-Up & Dance Adventure, they can fire up their dad's copy of Left 4 Dead and let the blood bath ensue. http://store.steampowered.com/news/2668/ |

protip: bad guys wear darker camo, don't have helmets ever, and also never wear backpacks. also, you get more points for healing a teammate than you lose for shooting them a few times.

I tried to play this game, but the drill instructor told me I was not in compliance with AR 600-9 U.S. Army Height Weight Standards, and flagged me for remedial training and a diet & nutrition course. Fuck realism mods. Too soon. |

http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?si ... 05/2058228 News: Blizzard delays the release of StarCraft II to next year. Quote: The upgraded Battle.net is an integral part of the StarCraft II experience and will be an essential part of all of our games moving forward. This extra development time will be critical to help us realize our vision for the service. ... As we work to make Battle.net the premier online gaming destination, we'll also continue to polish and refine StarCraft II,
So not only are they removing LAN support, it's delaying the release of the game. Fuck them and fuck you.

That's actually okay with me. I'll be wrapped up in L4D, Global Agenda, and Borderlands this fall/winter anyway. As for LAN support, meh. I never played SC in a LAN-setting anyway. |
