I'm starting to fear that the Serios Server is irrevocably fucked up. I mean, you can play in it, but the crashes are more frequent and occasionally there are plagues of livestock.

Not to mention mysterious crosses popping up everywhere.

Yeah, uh.. I ran into a gigantic (like.. 100+) pack of wolves wandering around the entrance to Chichen Itza. What's more, if I try to sleep, I drop into the sleep POV, but it appears as if I'm actually sleeping under the bed, and the time doesn't change.

Yeah, so the deal is, there's some kind of world corruption issue, and of course Notch can't hear the complaints about it from on top of his mountain of cash. And of COURSE the server doesn't do any kind of rolling backups, so if you don't run the game with a wrapper or do backups manually, you're fucked.

The typical response in the forums is "Assuming the server is actually going to work makes an ass out of you and you. You should have thought about what you'd do if it fucked up your world files before you started running the server whose documentation, where existent, never talks about that. I'm a huge fag."

I like to think the server couldn't process all the penises, and began tearing itself apart upon witnessing our greatness.

I was in that pyramid on Thursday, and it is pure, spectacular, amazing. I don't want Hoggs Enourmous Ballserver to destroy our memories of killing machines, egg and snowball launchers, etc., before we have a chance to preserve them in the anals of [ ___ ].

I had an idea: I can take down the current server unless/until I'm able to fix it, and in the meantime put up a new server that spawns us in the Nether. Anyone interested?

i'm down for whatever. I started recording some of our greatness but the game crashed in king's glitched bed and i quit.

I got the two penii, the snow shooting penis, the pyramid and the dickservatory. I did not get dime's house, riding the water elevator, or the fabulous killing machine and its water slide.

I can make another round tomorrow. Anything else I should take a video of?

Good news: the server now has 3 shiny GB of RAM. Bad news: it's still fuxed.

Good news: I decided to start HELLPENIS, accessible at hogg.no-ip.com:26666. Bad news: It's kind of gay. I think it might only be fun as a place to raid through portals, to get cool shit for the non-hell world.

I just don't know of a way to fix the corruption issues in the current world. I guess there are some editors that can like pull shit out of a saved world and put it down in a new world, so we could re-create our stuff in a new world I guess sort of maybe. I don't anticipate Notch will fix his shit though.

Anyway, I could remove HELLPENIS and put up a new NEW server in regular mode.
