I played this a year ago at PAX. Was ok fun at that time... assuming they have tweaked it in the last 15+ months it is probably fun now.

oh cool, been waiting to see it on steam.

I've got an old co-worker buddy who likes it.

i'd install and play some. it'll be a nice change of pace. doubt it can oust Bf4 and csgo though.

I played it for a few hours and was not really impressed.

Its a FPS pretending to be a mech game. The movement is slow and clunky. The flying is crappy compared to Tribes and the weapon choices are garbage.

It's a freemium model, so you have to shell out lots of cash to be good. Similar to Tribes but unlike Tribes I dont think you'll be any good until you pay.

So...do we just want to re-install Tribes?

none of the mech games i play stand up to my fond memories of Mechwarrior 2 series. prefer to leave mechs there in my happy place.
