CAL kiddies are funny. They always use "it's part of the game!" to defend lame tactics, but whenever the game is going to change they cry and cry because apparently by "it's part of the game" they mean "i like it this way, stoofoo."

They'd rather mantain the status quo than deal with something more challenging and more realistic.

Honestly, I applaud EA for this. They're making the game harder, not easier, which means skill becomes more of a factor, not how good you are at timing your "leave squad" and "join squad" actions.

I also agree with ratnads. they should not change a big aspect of the game. i like the game how it is now.

They need to do it so when the SL dies, the player that is SL cycles to the bottom of the squad and next player becomes SL.

Also when players spawn on SL, they should be parachuting in.

so, just to make sure i understand, squad hopping = everyone leaving/rejoining the squad to let the only living guy be the leader so everyone can respawn?

Air dropped vehicles: Squad members can now send a request up the chain of command for a vehicle to be dropped at their location.

After seeing an unofficial list of changes for patch 1.3 I was absured about one of the changes.

remind me to put my dick in the eye of the next person I see that bitches about the new patch.

I was happy for the entreprenuers. This is their "big break." They just achieved one of the two things every entreprenuer dreams of. A big huge buy out (or a big huge IPO).

congrats to them. I really doubt we will see ANY change for the worse. They'll probably do some integreation with MTV's other internet stuff, and actually advertise for it.

It might actually be good. Imagine it becoming as popular as AIM in the gaming world. No longer will you have to say "Do you have xfire?" before you ask "What's your xfire name?"

and mtv doesn't rape their users. MTV just offers crappy content and gets away with it because their a monopoly. In this case, there's no crappy content to be offered, except maybe some worthless capabilities added on to xfire that we can just ignore.
