An MRI performed Thursday revealed that right-hander Scott Elarton has a partially torn tendon in his right rotator cuff. Elarton, who had not missed a turn in the rotation until Saturday, will seek a second opinion.

Ugh. I hate feeling bad when the Royals win, but I do. They need to lose a lot to the Red Sox, Twins, and Tigers. And smoke the Faggoty Sox and Yankees. I was trying to explain to my girlfriend why watching the 9th inning would be a waste, with the two crapiest hitters on the Royals, plus DeJesus, facing Boston's untouchable closer (you know, the one who's given up 4 runs all year). Then she laughed at me for ahving you all no faith.
