Fair enough, however, it was simply a matter of looking ahead to what was to become the largest game of the century. Only two teams were not dominated this season.

It would be like not calling USC a dynasty for what they've done since 2002 just because some of their games were close. It would be like saying OSU didn't deserve their National Championship in 2002 because all their games were close.
