Just a small repository to make your condolences known.

For those of you that don't know, Wardryer's father lost a battle to lung cancer this morning. We grieve his passing, but smile through the tears as we know that he did choose Life over death.

He was an incredible guy, the best story teller I've known. He had a way to make even the shortest story last for hours... those of us that knew him, know what I mean ;)

I think a proper sendoff includes copious amounts of drinking by atendees, and a memorial pubraid. Smith said it was to be an irish funeral, so all that's left for us is to pick a date for the pubraid.

It should be some days after the funeral, since the key pubers will be wardryer and co. When are the services?

Even if I have just come home carrying a shiny new Nintendo Wiigina, I shall pube.

P.S. I was going to suggest a memorial pube, but I thought it would be tacky. Thanks Rob.

P.P.S. Until the end of the ages, let us hold pubes in honor of anyone dear to us who has passed away.

Love you, Ed.

I suggest a memorial pub at Wardryer's earliest convenience.

also, for the drinkers in the house:

My uncles favorite was Drambuie on the rocks. My brothers and sister and I (who are of legal age) will be lifting a glass in honor of him tonight at 9ish EDT. Feel free to join us.
