Yeah. Everything they said about computers - no, everything involving computers at all - was absolutely retarded. Anyone knowledgeable in jets, highways, and physics would merely be amused, I'm sure, but the level of retardedness in the computer aspects of the film was staggering. It's not impossible to get things right. At least the movie Firewall seemed to TRY to make things plausible.

Maybe the Die Hard writers hired someone from Genmay to help them with the computer specifics, and the Genmay guy thought it'd be funny to make it as retarded as possible. Maybe the Mac guy did it.

Maybe I'm in the wrong profession to enjoy action movies for the next several decades.

THis could have been called Terminator 4: John Mclane model 101. Plus its pg13...John McClane says motherfucker, fuck, and shit. Not Gosh darnit.
