Developer Interview sold me. I've been a fan of the mechwarrior stuff for a long ass time (remember playing it on my neighbors 386), and these guys definately have some good ideas and beliefs in what they'd like. The only question is if they can actually make it all work. The video seems a little....slow for a "look-at-me-I'm-so-cool" intro, but it sounds like it's actually supposed to be fairly standard gameplay. Could make for another really good multiplayer franchise... |

Mechwarrior Living Legends - Open beta released for download http://www.mechlivinglegends.net/ It's a full mod for Crysis, but looks pretty cool. Someone that has Crysis want to download and try it out? I'd consider it if it's quality. As a side note Mechwarrior 5 got a semi-permenet delay. Did some looking on that and there's a big legal battle right now over copyright issues on some of the robots with some gay homoerotic japenese animeporn thing. Don't have the link anymore, google for more info. |

played it. love it! it's still a little rough around the edges (i.e. beta) but it's totally playable and I will be playing it lots with snopea. buy crysis maximum - 40 bucks for a good game anyway, and get your mech today! |

hey, Crysis & Crysis warhead pack (called maximum) is 15 bucks today only. So i'd definitely say buy it now if you plan to play mechwarrior with us because it ain't ever gonna get cheaper until next christmas at best. If you're still hesitant there is a demo for crysis which might actually work with the mechwarrior beta . . . |
