I also vote for keeping the server, at least if we're going to keep playing the game.

Most recent from valve is "Sometime this spring" which we all know actually means "we'll release the xbox version when we need more monies, and the pc version will come out around the same time based on A) we need a beta run of it to get more xbox people to pay for it or B) it's almost Christmas and we're close to releasing L4D3 so need to gather media attention."

Yeah, once BC2 settles into "occasional 6+ underscore awesome" like BF2 was, I'm getting back into L4D2.

Last Gnome On Earth
Protect the gnome at all cost.
Do you crave attention? Want all the infected to swarm you and the gnome you are carrying? Then we have the game mode for you. The team needs to carry the garden gnome from start to finish in any campaign. The common infected hate the gnome and will swarm whoever is carrying him. Watch out putting him on the ground, a boomer explosion will send him flying!

This Mutation is available in Campaign Mode.

Looks like this weeks mutation is an encore week for the "Last gnome on earth" mutation. If you really want to f with people on this one join a "Dark Carnival" game, get to the shooting range, knock loose the gnome there, and then mix up the two gnomes repeatedly. It's possible to figure it out again which must survive (all infected go for the guy carrying the mutation gnome) but still entertaining.
