L4D2 demo preload has begun. Get it by Tuesday.

edit: well, that's what they say here: http://store.steampowered.com/news/2989/

but I'm not seeing a preload option yet. Still, keep an eye on it. Demo will be released Tuesday.

Preload complete, even though I fully expect it not to work. The laptop experiment last night was entertaining. 640X480 lowest graphic settings on a laptop with essentially no video card L4D is entertaining. I'll have to take a few screenshots for everyone! Why? because I have absolutly nothing else productive to do. Sure, I could start trading stocks online or even look for old college friends on facebook but really, what's the point?

I played through it once. There's new stuff in every slot - new primary weapons, new secondary (like frying pans and shit instead of a pistol), a new bomb, adrenaline that you can use instead of pills, and even a defibrillator to revive dead players (you carry it instead of a med kit). Should be pretty interesting.

Oh, and Nick has a REALLY annoying death scream.

Just ran through the demo today, interestingly enough there was a fellow playing as an infected, he said something about typing "set infected 1" in console. just wondered if anyone has experienced the same thing.

So I've finally returned home. Done the L4D2 pre-load (cannot execute it till release date) but don't see the demo available anywhere. Did they close it down? I want me some more zombies dammit!
