Are you all set up with mumble? Make sure you have that working so you're ready to join as soon as we're looking to start a match. Whoever joins mumble first or sends a message to say they're in gets to play.

- All grenades now have a secondary fire that throws an underhand grenade a short distance in front of the player.
-- Secondary fire can be combined with primary fire to precisely adjust the strength of the throw.

- Weapon balance has been adjusted:
-- Improved Desert Eagle accuracy recovery
-- Improved Sg553 and AUG rates of fire.
-- Improved Sg553 and AUG scoped control ( reduced inaccuracy and recoil ).
-- Increased movement inaccuracy on all automatic weapons by 50%.
-- Movement inaccuracy when walking is now calculated differently, resulting in better walking accuracy across the board.
- sv_airaccelerate has been slightly increased.

Turns out you bolded the wrong thing, Rob. This AUG shit has made the game unplayable - the word is out.

The Aug is definitely OP but I don't think it's game-breaking. It's an expensive gun to buy. If T's win a round, CT's can't afford to equip it again unless their side has already had a lot of wins in the half. Since many maps are CT sided, that'll happen, but as always the T's need to win pistol round and the two that follow at a minimum to have a good shot at winning.

AK's and AWP's still beat the Aug for attackers since peekers have a bit of an advantage. A team of SMG's/shotguns against Augs will get shut down pretty badly since the CT's can play back beyond the T's effective range. Imagine if a team of CT's all had autosnipers and just played back as far as they can in their positions - it'd be even worse. The issue with the Aug currently is the easily-countered recoil. It feels like a BF3/BF4 weapon. I think they'll make the recoil pattern less predictable in an update since the straight-vertical recoil is the big problem with it now.

Not really, if CTs win pistol. Also, on T, AKs are still a better offensive gun IMO since they cost less and you'll rarely use the scope on offense (ignoring the retarded walk-no-recoil script).

They fixed augs. New zoom in is crap. Played a pretty high ranked match with fast augs and we decimated on ct.

I used the AUG a good bit last night, and was pretty pleased with it after the nerf. The new green-dot while zoomed in is pretty cool looking.

As far as playing with it it's halfway between an M4 and an auto-snipe. Worse than M4 when moving, better when sitting still because of zoom, rate of fire, damage. For the quick ambushing or holding a site when you know your enemy has to move through a choke-point it worked wonderfully.

And I base all of this on absolutely no math at all. Just our couple of wins against other teams.

Getting pretty good at predicting long range recoil on the P90. If you cant shoot your ak very well ill hs you several times.

Anyways, when you guys are asking for more people to join a game its for an actual match right? Cause if I were to join i'd probably really suck.

As long as you play some outside of the matches then you'll be alright. we have lots of varying skill ranges. Just stick to the P90 (aka Pro90), follow instructions, and give a little bit of a shit. You'll be fine.

avoid these things:
* attempting to flank the terrorist team by going the long way through their spawn, not telling anyone, and futilely arriving at the bombsite after all your teammates are dead.
* purchasing guns immediately after a loss. before you buy, look around you. Does anyone have less than 4000? May need to do a save round.
* buying any gun but The Greatest Gun in the Game: P90.

other stuff you'll pick up as we play, like what we call our strats, what we call certain spots on the map. That'll make you a useful team player, if not a great shot.

If you want to learn to actually shoot better there's lots of resources for that online. ask if you're interested.

If you prefer giving 0 shits and want to pub raid or something like in the old days, we can still all do that in "classic casual" mode. I don't know why no one ever suggests this. Having too much fun w/ the competitive matches I suppose.

hogg and smoke are usually around late, starting at 10:30. Sometimes earlier.

sabs and I are usually around early, starting at 5:30. Sometimes later.

Lots of other people play at random times.

we have a group.me group (SMS/Group Chat) that we send alerts to when we need players. PM me if you want on that.

We also send a message to the crapyclawn steam group. If you aren't in that you need to be! Let me know.

which doesn't make much sense because the whole idea of raw mouse input is that it has nothing to do with your frames per second like normal mouse input would.

But he said he noticed a difference, and I noticed a difference when i turned off FPS_Max awhile back. So maybe it's true... but i couldn't find anything when I googled this.

Sabs defend your claim.

Reading that post i decided to test it myself.

I have 530 hours in csgo and after changing raw input off i instantly made my best deathmatch session ever. I'm very sensitive to mouse input changes and the difference was like night and day to me. I'm very interested to hear if anyone else has noticed this. I use G400 1.47 sens on QCK Heavy with MarkC mousefix.

NOTE: I'm not saying you should just change it off and be done with it. I'm saying try it out and see how it feels. Could be so many things affecting it like resolution and stuff.
