I am currently in San Antonio for a conference, and over the weekend I will be driving to Austin to visit #137 and Agent, then onwards to Houston to visit family. I fly out Sunday night. My entire weekend from Friday afternoon to Sunday is unplanned beyond those loose guidelines. Anyone have any suggestions?

Some thoughts on San Antonio so far:
-I haven't seen the sun since Tuesday in MN. What's up with the constant fog/rain?
-Marriott Rivercenter is pretty nice. Right on top of a shopping mall (which is half vacant for some reason).
-Riverwalk is pretty cool, if only it would stop raining
-Getting approached by 4 people for money as soon as I step outside the hotel is uncool. Bums are agressive here
-Most people besides bums are very nice

While in Austin, catch a movie at an Alamo Drafthouse.

Yeah, in San Antonio one time a bum offered me and my friends some joints if we had any food we could give him. This struck me as really backwards, maybe he was confused or something and he meant to ask us for food money which he would then go off and buy joints with, I dunno.

The bum scene in San Diego is the best I've encountered.

i don't think there are any other heroes in austin. Jefe used to live here but now he's in dallas or houston. You should look up the old phone number thread and call some bitches when you hit H-town. Try jefe, mueldriver, and kingloser. and lol, san antonio fog. You're lucky you didn't get the usual death ray heat.

After that was the long drive to Austin, with a stop at the biggest outlet mall I've ever seen to look at the Tumi outlet



Watching Magic Pancake Theater trash Transformers (2007) at the Alamo Ritz in Austi



Next was drinking at the Blind Pig on 6th street with Agent



Another bar



First glimpse of non-big-city Texans



The next day Agent and I pwned some noob targets






Agent and Number gave me a tour of UT before I left Austin

Spent a night in College Station with the boots and hicks


Figured out why 290 was so backed up


Stopped by a house in Houston where burglars had punched through a window to open up the latches


Got back to my roots with the 2nd largest population of Vietnamese in the US outside of CA (or so I've heard)


All in all, a good slice of TX life and culture

First of all, epic adventure is epic.
Second of all, Fat Raughb should've had a shaved head all along.
Third of all, what kind of camera do you have?
