you should be able to get better than them for less than 200.
Higher contrast ratio means better and more accurate blacks.

I think right now I'll just wait on a sell for one at Fry's but I have been looking at some Acers on Newegg. Honestly it might be fine if I just stick with the one I have I guess unless one comes out real cheap since it's the same size.
Difference is it lacks HD and it also doesn't go up to 1920 x 1080.
I can't tell if it will make a big difference to upgrade or if I'm just looking to throw some money at a new toy.

Fry's will almost never have a better deal than what you can find online, especially once you factor in tax. Dell sometimes has good deals on their monitors and you might get lucky with TigerDirect, assuming the Bing Cashback is still around 15%.
I wouldn't recommend Newegg for monitors due to their horrible dead-pixel policy.
