thinking about getting this:
steelseries 63004SS QcK Mouse Pad - OEM
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6826995022

thoughts? The only complaint in the reviews is that it's packaged in a cylindar and comes out all wavy. You can see that in the image on newegg.

Do you have a high quality laser mouse and a mousepad that you love? Right now i'm using my desk and its uneven surface is like an 11 year old loser with acne

I've got a rocketfish one I bought when I was a bestbuy employee, cost me about $5 at the time.
I like it, but I'm a mediocre game player. You all just love me for my penis.

TOO SOON.

i'm still bitter.

ps. I used to use a HardOCP Ratpadz surface (original, from like 1999 or something) that I borrowed from a co-worker in RI, and forgot to give back before I moved 7 years ago. But I lost it when we moved out of the apartment a year and a half ago.

Sounds awesome. Pic? I might consider replacing mine, except I have a non-customized func 1030 that has lasted me at least 6 years with no signs of wear. Had some other "gaming" pads before that which were nice when new, but quickly wore out.

Ashley is giving me her alienware mousepad, which might be a func mousepad.

based on my exhaustive research of newegg reviews, i'd still suggest the particular steelseries Qck pad i linked in the original post. They have a few different sizes, but it's their "broad compatability, lower priced" model. Which is fine because it still costs 18 bucks after shipping.

func sounds enticing but i didn't see them for sale on newegg.

Had the ratpadz back in the day. Wore it out smooth.

Get yourself an ALLSOP metal pad from bestbuy. Great buy.

I really really really like mine, and not just because it's epic. It's lasted a year so far with no discernible wear. Do recommend.
