TNs will generally look god awful in an eyefinity setup due to the poor viewing angles.

And that's if you don't want to spend the extra for an IPS. The HP ZR24w is nice, so is Dell's U2410; you should be able to find either for ~400. Btw, if the monitor you get doesn't have display port, you're going to have to shell out ~100 for an active adapter. I believe there's a card or two that doesn't require display port (most require it for at least the 3rd+ monitors), but I'm not sure.

lol. wasn't making a recommendation there, just sayin "how about it." Is the one ultros posted not a TN panel? You bring up a good point... viewing angles really would matter for eyefinity.

I'm waiting for a decently priced IPS display with better resolution than my 24" dell's 1920x1200.

so, i also am playing a completely different game. I upgraded last night to a phenom II x2 555 (won't unlock will overclock ) 4gb DDR3 @1800mhz, new PSU and ASUS M4N98TD EVO. Was planing to SLI with another gtx260, but honestly I don't see the need. I maxed all settings at 1400x900 (my glanns-g 19in lcd maximum) and I am blown away. It really is a totally new game. Also, my ping is consistently sub 150ms, which it has never been before.

Only thing I gotta do now is buy a new headset. The $6.99 one i got from newegg has the mic integrated into the volume control on the cord... and its super hard to hear.

Installed my Quad Core Phenom II Black Edition today. Stock fan and no OC, yet. And yea, totally new game. Silky smooth, lower ping (however that works), and a KD never below 1to1, usually closer to 1.5 or 2.

All the __ i played w/ tonight helped, of course. Pea, Cale, Pork. Good times.

Favorite windows 7 hidden feature? The addition of symlinks. I know, these have been around in *nix for a long time, but it's nice to finally get them on windows.

This way, we can change actual locations of folders/files in various apps even if they don't support it natively.

For example, if you use Steam, you might be frustrated that all of your games must be on the same drive. If you are low on space, you make symlinks to another drive for some of your game folders.
