hahah, that was fun. Got to play the last level over and over and over again with ultros, posi, and machidiel. Machidiel had to drop, and we 3 carried on for hours until we finally put on the pwnpants and finished it. I can't take any credit for beating the game as I skipped about half of the middle missions while the other 3 slogged through, but it was still fun as fuck. Credit to ultros's brother caligua for joining, running with us for a little ways, launching all his grenades at our feet, and then bluescreening. It paid off later when we back tracked from the final push to get his assault rifle for ultros. and credit to ultros' dead-on rail gun shooting, even if he does run around in circles on the front line with it. favorite scene is when i'm struggling to get to the escape ship, swarmed by enemies, thinking i'm the last one alive and i'm going to blow it, and posi comes blazing in, splattering bugs all over so that we both make it to the ship. unfortunately posi didn't know how to get ON the ship so he didn't make it. :( it all would have gone a lot faster if we had machidiel and his autogun, but alas he had work, music, high, excuses at about 2am. |

I knew how to get on the ship, I was just surrounded by a horde because all the aliens were ignoring you for some reason. I just now realized how useful the blink pack would've been in that situation. |

Don't know how many of you have seen Aliens (why you haven't seen this movie enough times to commit it to memory, I can't even begin to guess), but apparently the developers have. This game is so full of references to the movie, and it makes me squeal like a little girl. |

I DLed this last night and saw all you kids playing but I had just got home from being in the airport for 13 hours so I wanted to watch Deep Space Nine and wish I was chilling at Quark's instead. Busy week with school and catching up on work but I'm down for a game. Brandon |

they released the source, actually! So we'll be seeing custom maps for free soon, and full mods later. and by "soon" I mean, right now. They released it for free because:1) The mod is old (for UT2k4) 2) Valve hired the mod-makers 3) It gets more people on Steam From what I can tell, the Source port was kinda a side-project for the mod guys at Valve while they worked on other games. |

lol, that campaign was a single map, but at least it had objectives and an escape route. I died pretty early and posi solo'd it with a chainsaw, to win out. Not that it's an easy map, he's just that badass. also here's this: |
