Cleaning out the ole Netflix queue and finally got around to seeing "the Crazies" remake.
Enjoyable movie. Quasi-zombies and overenthusiastic military cleansing programs, all set in Iowa (a fictional town called Ogden Marsh, a few hours outside Cedar Rapids!).

Rewatched the classic baseball movie Rookie of the Year.
Daniel Stern directed it. I like to think it shows.
Gary Busey plays Roger Clements near as I can figure.

Now watching Megashark versus Megacrocodile.
I'd say the shark holds up its end of the bargain, but the croc is more massive than mega.

The new X-Men movie is rock solid. Best offering of the series so far and makes a good case for more super-hero movies.
