Steam downloadable game, was like $6 for it this last weekend (main game plus all expansions). Find it here: http://store.steampowered.com/app/41800/ Don't know that it's worth the $20, but definately worth the $6. All gameplay is just in building ships, making up fleet composition, and giving all ships various behaviors. Then you get to watch it perform against enemy fleets. Fun in the single player, shines in building a fleet and challenging others... |

and lastly: I whooped ass on both your fleets. Agent - got a 100% survival rate against yours; Ultros - 97% survival against yours. Sent winning fleets back to you each. As a side note cruiser 'multi-warhead missle launcher' fucking rocks ass. Ultros's cruisers felt my wrath! |

actually, teaks, check the details on your initial challenge to me. I sent you my LOSING fleet. I wiped the floor with you the 1st two times. So much so that the 2nd time I dropped 3 fighter squadrons just to see if you could get an edge enough to win. You didn't. |

I'll check it, if you haven't please resend the fleet. The challenge box doesnt give a time stamp (only date) so I'm struggling to figure out which is the most recent challenge. |

well what's weird about this game is I can play your challenge, beat you, but not retaliate and you'll never see the battle. You'll just see in the details of that challenge that I beat you. (at least, i hope you at least see that.) anyway, i'm going through with my fleet and beating every challenge sent to me that I haven't beat and retaliating. So you'll get your due, heh. |

btw, this game is NOT worth 20 bucks. The UI for the game is confounding counter-intuitive. Almost insultingly. Worse yet, the multi-player challenge system is total shit. I mean, it's functional, but it's a pain in the ass. But totally worth 6 bucks. Man, i love the concept of just planning planning planning and then watching the fight. Also the underlying battle engine with its breadth of orders and depth of complexity really makes for tons of customization and satisfying victories. But hey, free demo. Give it a shot if you're interested. |

beat you both down. It's too easy to build a fleet designed specifically to take out one other fleet. Ultros and I have a few iterations back and forth using the same fleet with mild moderations...basically just constantly tweeking the same fleet to try to get the one-up on the other person. Agent - sent you a copy of my last winning fleet there, so you can get in on the action (when you beat it make sure to send a copy to Ultros also). See if we can get a 3-way dominance struggle going on (i.e. Can't build to just defeat one fleet, must be able to beat fleets of both others). Also: playing 'hard' difficultly missions significantly more difficult, though also a bit more rewards. Pulled 30k+ upgrade points in one battle that way. |

yea i just beat the 3rd single player mission. I'm gonna focus on that if you guys are taking it up a notch. that said, I did unlock carrier bays now, so the zerg swarm may yet return . . . |

Don't think carrier bays are worth crap. Not sure yet. The fleet of missiles missilesmissilesmissilesmissilesmissilesmissilesmissiles was a bitch. I need to unlock more.

I havent had any luck with carrier bays yet either...fighters are pretty much either dead or alive, not really much inbetween. And Ultros: your severe missle fleet is a real pain in the ass. Tried it out last night by just changing a few orders on some of my fleet and got a win (statistically i had like 42% left, but all of it was just about dead). Wasnt happy with it (i'm sure a couple minor tweaks on your part would have bested me easily) so tried to reconfigure a bit again. Lost to you that time like 0% - 64%, so kinda fucked myself. Gonna work it again tonight and hopefully send something back. Hapy: we'll get u in on this too...anytime someon makes some significant changes to their fleet or manages to use one fleet to beat everyone else's most recent challeneges, make sure to send out what you have. |

I learned it from you rofl. I do have several tweaks in mind. My rush tactics have been put down with your missiles so I had to change. Also I have finally unlocked everything and have changed races. |

Also learned how to tweak the armor load out.Also I think we need large enough maps that can make fighters and bombers be worth something. |

yeah, i got your new races' missle fleet. Tried switching races and worked up fleets in a couple of them tonight, both with miserable results. I can always go for the all-out missle slug-fest, but there has to be some better way countering that tactic. Just havent found it yet. Will keep working and send something back once I get a working a model. |
