lol electricity. This is probably the worst of what's in my house. I replaced it with an improperly-grounded and possibly reverse-polarity modern receptacle.

I have that ancient knob-and-tube shit on my second floor and in my basement. Later this year I'm gonna have an electrician replace it, and then the likelihood I'll die in a fire will decrease slightly. Also lol, most of the breakers in my panel are not labeled, so Lawly and I had to turn them off one by one and see what shut off. The room with that outlet has a 20A breaker all to itself. I don't know if the wires can actually handle that much current, but hopefully I won't make them try (but that IS my computer room now). |

Depends on the gauge of the wire, and some other factors. If it's 10awg, you can shove 25-30 amps through it regularly and not worry too much. |
