The beginning of something wonderful!

Cost

G27 --- $150
Metal --- $60
Seat --- $27.50

Here is the first picture of my racing rig. It's really rough and alot of the welds have yet to be cleaned up. It's going quite well just takes alot of time because, I suck at welding and I suck at maths.

On the next build day I will be cutting off spare peice of tubing and then putting more support beams on the steering setup. I will be mounting the shifter with a small arm rest which will be movable from the left side of the cockpit and the right side of the cock pit. It will be painted Lotus racing green/yellow and will feature a nice skirt for the seat and some aluminum diamond plate for the kick plates under the pedals.

They had a LAN setup like that in Vegas for Mechwarrior stuff.
You slid into an enclosed space-age cockpit and it had a rare (for 199something) multimonitor setup.
It was titsy.

Also, very nice Pea, I'd always wanted a clone of a sit-down arcade racer and now you've found a way to make one.

Don't forget to upload the results.
