So they're coming out with a Play4Free BF game, and it looks a lot like BF2. It has jets so immediately I'm turned off by it, but even more by the fact it's free. If BF Heroes is any indication, EA half-asses their free games much more than retail releases. I also have a feeling they'll be selling weapons and other items down the road if the game is popular enough. BF:H was decent until they completely broke game balance if you didn't pay. I expect them to do the same with BFP4F sooner rather than later. Also, if BF:H was any indication, you won't have to deal with DICE's repeatedly shitty server browser either because it won't exist. |
