People still buy games on day 1?

Also, game is somewhat buggy depending on your drivers. AMD just re-released their RAGE beta driver (the previous release had old OGL drivers by mistake); Nvidia also has a beta driver out for it.

Rage isn't a complicated game. Despite what the developers might have suggested and we might have assumed, it's still set in a corridor. Fortunately, id still make some of the finest corridors in the world.

no surprise... Carmack is and always was "tech is god". Its been awhile (since Q2?) since he's employed enough "design is god" guys to offset himself.

Game is decent. Linear version of fallout 3 with vehicles so you don not have to run for miles. Faster paced action and maybe the best looking game I have played to date. Requires a very good computer as it is buggy, but not terribly so after updating drivers. You spend a lot less time managing weight and inventory like fallout. I would wait for a weekend deal but still not bad. 7 out of 10. I would give fallout a 9 out of 10 for reference. Also it is like 24 gigs.

I was wondering what you meant, all the critic reviews i seen put it in around 85%. But then i saw the user reviews on metacritic.

Finished the game. I would not pay more than $20 for it as it was very easy and to short. On looks I would give it a 10/10 but game was pretty short and races and car shit was repetitive.

yup However might be some great mods in the future as normally happens for id games engines.
