I'm in the closed beta and so far it seems pretty solid. I like it better than living legends. The mechs feel larger and more robust than living legends.
+ Graphics are good
/ Sounds are ok
+ LRMS look awesome when you have 80 in the air going towards someone. The anti missile system works and you can hear it work. And it shoots @ missiles going for your teammates also.
+ It isn't very easy to control the mech
+ Mech XP for giving you like 2.5% better heat dissipation so small enough to matter but not broken.
/ Wish the mech lab would have a full view of the mech with what is in each location. You have to click on the mech to see what is in that location.
+ Currently it is only level 1 tech. So mechs have hard points, no omni mechs or clanners.
- No Physical attack other than charging and death from above.
+ Charging little mechs in my Atlas makes them fall down
.-Shadows of the mech doesn't bob up and down.
I don't have anyone else to play with so I don't know how the friend stuff works out. I know you can make clans and such.
All and all a solid game. Another great f2p like tribes.
