hey,

so i've been posting an event to the crapy clawn steam group when i'm playing a game and there are some spots available.

It's working great, but obviously only the people sitting at their computer with Steam online will see the message.

Would it help anyone if these notifications were to also pop up on twitter, show up in their feed reader, or arrive via email?

p.s.
anyone a member of the steam group (which should be everyone) can also post these events/announcements. Just go here:

so anyway, Brad suggested a group text messaging app, and I found a free one owned by Microsoft via Skype called Group.Me.

I'm going to invite all the randos we play with (like Mansa, Jefe and Machidiel) so yeah.

It's pretty much the same as Google Hangouts, except you don't need a Google account AND a phone that supports Google Hangouts.

play a few nights a week with us and don't disappear for 5 years :)

checking these forums sorta-automatically puts you in the super-homo club though. we make all the randos register here, but only the homoest of all of us actually check it and post stuff.

p.s.
Muffin Man is also in the group.me now as he hates using 3G.

we should get Toast on there.
