Hah youre a royals fan that has to suck bad.
Im an A's fan and im here to tell you its better to not have pujols at all then to have him only till his contract year comes up then lose him guranteed.
Tejada Giambi Damon Dye Mulder Hudson thats just to name the ones off the top of my head. Keep all of them on one team and they just might be worth a fuck.
Damon and Dye? Where'd they come from? Hmmm.... Sorry, but the Royals invented "Uh, we can't afford our players so we have to let them go." Not just Beltran, who makes more than any former A's player who didn't take steroids. This goes back to Appier, Cone, etc., back when baseball was just beginning to get all gay and payroll-imbalanced.

The problem is that the A's could win their division and are 100% assured to lose in the playoffs, just overmatched, id rather jsut be the cubs and know were going to suck instead of having all these hopes every year just to get let down then let 2 good players go again.
I hear this all the time from Twins fans as well. I'm sorry, I just don't buy it. I'd give a nut and four inches off of my dick to sit in Kauffman stadium for a playoff game, just
one. Having just watched my team go through 11 losing seasons in a row (save for a fluke 83-win season), including 100-loss seasons in 3 of the last 4, trust me: you don't want this. Your team has a legitimate chance at winning a game on any given day. That makes for good entertainment. My team?...

...That makes for getting pissed off and frustrated and scared to death I'm about to witness the biggest debacle in the history of organized baseball (they're on pace for a whopping 39 wins). A perrenial first-round loser? Where do I sign up?
