You need to go the spacelane station in oimmo, click the offices tab on the right, find The Rogue Traders. Click "Join corp"

for the application, put only "let me in fools"

Then, when you get an email from drekkan noldaris, it says "review the offer blah blah" go back and click join corp again, and then you're in.

say hi in corp chat, tell them you're part of the crapy clawn virus.

My IG name is MENTVLA. I don't think my ship has a name. My ship is the fucking rookie ship, because i bored to play always same training since years, and I cut the electronic bitch off and headed to Oimmo as soon as she told me how to jump to places. I figured that would be alright since in all likelihood, nine days from now i'll bored to play always same Eve anyway.

You do realize that the creative process needs time and distraction, else you get crappy stuff? Ever listen to the soundtrack for the movie Troy? Yeah, that garbage was composed/arranged/rehearsed/recorded in 13 days. That's why it sucks so badly.

if you aren't going to do the tutorial, and you aren't going to use the online help guide, then you'll have to wait for me and/or brady to babysit you.

the game isn't incredibly intuitive at first. sorry.

i highly reccomend finishing the tutorial. yes it's long, YES you learn alot, do it in two or three sessions. Yes you can restart the tutorial, click on the floaty tube symbol on the left, click tutorials, and try to find where you left off.

saturday: i'm with family all day. brady is leaving for austin.
Sunday: I'm with family all day. brady is in austin with no internets.
Monday: brady comes over to my place in austin after school and we hook up our internets and save all you guys from the bored of space.

in the mean time, do the freaking tutorial.

So I installed it, got an account, made a character, and then when I hadn't even done anything with my ship, my internet crapped out.

When my internet craps out, that means it's just gone for 10-60 seconds. I'm sure some dust-caked piece of shit router in the tech's office is overheating or something.

The way programs react to this varies. CS sometimes lets me stay connected, sometimes disconnects me, and sometimes keeps me connected but does the weird glitch where no models are visible and stuff. Vent and xfire always disconnect and sometimes fail to reconnect. BF2 shits its pants, though I usually stay connected.

What does eve online do? It exits the game, telling me I "lost my connection." Well, duh. I guess closing the fucking client is really necessary.

So, in sum, my trial of eve online took about 10 minutes, and I've concluded I won't be able to play it ever.
