Excerpts from student reviews of Azad Azadmanesh, teacher of a dick-in-the-ass-hard class I have to take this semester:
Quote:
He needs to realize that you cant just take your first name and throw it in your last name and think your american
He has no ability to teach. Also, he is the worst teacher ever.
If the guy would learn to speak english it would be a start!! the guy also talks fast and doesnt explain himself- he assumes you know what your doing already- HEY..THIS ISNT AN HONORS COURSE!!!
The man reads off the slides. Very boring. Cannot teach. Spends too much time on worthless things. Stalls if he has nothing to teach.
Did nothing but read slides and put students to sleep with monotone voice. This class was basically self-taught. Unless you have a barrel of vivarin and some serious self-motivation, I urge you to take someone else.
Improvement: Kick his face in
Comments: Very boring, never tangents, His tests are 20-30x more specific than lecture or slides.... if youre not interested in pulse code modulation and manchester encoding schemes and fucking your grandmother then you're fucked in this class
He does not seem to know what he is talking about, and avoids answering questions by walking around them. Azad's terrible teaching style is elevated to new heights during the computer architecture chapter. I found it best to not go to class and just study from the book and the previous tests that he posts on his web site. I would recommend others to do the same.
After taking Azad's class, I've concluded that he is the worst teacher I've had a UNO thus far. I honestly don't think this man is qualified enough to be teaching anything above "Intro to PC's." (Although I bet he would struggle to teach even that course.) What really pisses me off about Azad is his teaching methods--the whole "3 tests determine your grade" method stinks. You mess up on one test and you can seriously screw yourself out of a good grade (it screwed me out of a well-deserved A). All in all, avoid Azad like a plague; he makes bad teachers look good.
Almost all of these were from the less advanced computer architecture classes he used to teach; I'm taking the more advanced one. Can't fucking wait.
