Yeah, I realized the other day that I forgot the Underscores World Champion t-shirts. Should I just do them for this season? Both seasons combined?

Oh, and assrott and I agreed that the comical moments were acceptable, as they stemmed from Leonidas and the Spartans basically saying "I AM GREAT." Their all-around greatness reminded me of the Underscores.
i lawled at this.

as for the T-shirts, yes please! both seasons.

what about Xercies basically propositioning...the lead spartan? The stuff i'm talkin about wasn't obviously gay but not in the least straight...

and yes that was a totally accidental choice of words
I don't think that was the intention they were trying to make. Keep in mind Xerxes was trying to portray himself as a kind and compassionate god.

I did like the movie alot. One thing i thought was messed up was leonidas called the Athenians boy lovers of which the spartans and all of greek culture did thereby claiming they were the straight ones and athens were the gay ones.

Unfortunately for me im taking a ancient greek class and just got done reading about the battle of thermopolyae from herodotus who wrote the story in the first place. The bad part is it simply points out all the things that were movieized that were not necessary but oh well. I would also like to add that the people Xerxes feared the most were the Athenians not the greeks.

Oh well there were many things that i do not think would have hurt the story but would have kept it more accurate. Typical i guess of the book is better than the movie but it was a great movie.

A book is never better than a movie unless you look at porn, but in that case you have never seen a good porn movie...see: Pirates of the Carri bean (porn edition)...lawl

well, from what i've seen, the "book" (300 by frank miller) was pretty damn close to the movie.

Then, you have the "history" which is also probably pretty damn inaccurate (as ancient histories go), and it's going to be quite different from the 300 of the book and movie, to be expected.

yeah the 300 graphic novel the movie is spot on, i was just talking to famine and the thing i think i dont like about the movie is the way leonidas is portrayed is as a rebel which he was not in the history ot says that they were fighting with an army and once xerxes knew how to flank THEN the 300 stayed back to hold them off while the rest of the army fell back to a better position and got reinforcements.

They still stayed and fought for 3 days and accomplished the same things but it was not leonidas going against the poeple which i guess wasnt as melodramatic enough

I still thought it was a great movie thouhg and want ot go see it again which i never do

Anyone who claims movies are better doesn't know how to read correctly. The book "The Lord of the Rings" was so much better than the movies, even though the movies are my favorite ever. So... whatever.

Your Mom was better in my movie. Does it count if you listened to the books...and yes they were much better than the movies. I don't take time to read. I'd rather multi-task
