i need a jeff keppinger update!

gg mets cant get hits off wellemeyer coming into our game with a 6+era.

I dunno where ol' Kepp is. I think he lost the will to live after seeing all of his leads blown last year.

As for wellemeyer, don't let that 6+ ERA fool you; he's not very good.

The series is up for grabs. The Devil Rays snapped an 11-game winning streak in the opener. The Royals came back, 8-7, on Saturday night and have won eight of their last 12 games.
NOT RELALLY THEY ARE THE ONES THAT SUCKED

Also, lawl (clicky). Eat a dick, J.P. Howell. Sounds like sour grapes to me.

Remember my birthday?

That was the last time someone scored against Joakim Soria.

We'll make sure to kick the shit out of the Yankees for you. I call 10-0 against them for the rest of the season.

I also called a winning season before it started. I stand by that.

Just an awful story. I think of that sometimes when I'm on third in a softball game, but I don't always pay attention. And I only play one game a week. Regardless, the last thing you expect to do when you go to the ballpark is to be killed. And think of all the people that had to see that firsthand, kids especially. Just terrible.
Quote:
SAN ANTONIO -- Mike Coolbaugh became a coach with the Tulsa Drillers earlier this month not so much for the job itself, but because his little boys loved to see him on the baseball field.

"He had just started," said Coolbaugh's wife, Amanda, who is expecting their third child in October. "We were going to be done with it, but his kids wanted to see him."

Coolbaugh, 35, died Sunday after being struck in the head by a line drive as he stood in the first-base coach's box during a game in Arkansas.
Pray for that guy's family :(

Media member hit: During an interview with shortstop Tony Pena before Friday's game, Karen Kornacki of KMBC-TV was hit in the eye with a pellet-gun shot by Emil Brown. Kornacki and several media members were gathered around Pena's locker when a pellet struck Kornacki in the eye and knocked out her contact.

Kornacki was in pain and, according to a team official, was taken to an eye doctor. Bell later talked to Kornacki and said that she was OK.

Brown was very apologetic after the game.

"It was kind of a freaky thing," Brown said. "I don't know how it happened. I just wanted to say that I send my deepest condolences. I feel terrible about what happened to Karen, because she is one of the nicest people as far as I met in the media."

Brown had tried to contact Kornacki, but he hasn't been able to reach her.

"I am concerned about how she is doing," Brown said. "I would much rather talk to her than leave a voicemail message."

Bell declined to comment if Brown would face any repercussions.
What the FUCK?
