ok i set it so that any crapy clawn steam member can declare events and announcements.

any member can also invite new members so if you happen upon someone we've left out you can add them.

and hapy and hogg are now admins so you can change the pic yourself, hapy.

Turns out I am a group admin and I can do whatever I want

i really miss jumping out of the blackcock with dragon and hogg and sabs and others like superspck, (and who else? glim?), activating our parachutes at the last moment and nearly insta capping points in BF2. even if we got slaughtered we'd just respawn 2 miles up in the blackcock to do it again.

it was also fun riding Sab's greatness to victory as his attach chopper gunner.

i bought sab's old joystick for that game! and i never use it anymore but still have it in my bedside drawer.

i could probably run bf2 now, i think i upgraded since we last played.

and yea, berge showed up for some tf2 but it was his first time and he did'nt really like it so we have to con him into playing more.

how much HD did bf2 take though? i dont have a lot to spare. though i could just wipe the 10 gigs of ubuntu that i never use.

I crashed and comp took some time to come back up so I gave up and went to my local.

There was one other guy in there besides myself the manager and the bartender playing trashball. This consists of wading up napkins and seeing who can throw a ball in the trashcan with no one else doing the same. Kinda like horse. I won 19 bucks rofl.

k, but they have a new feature called "The account server doesn't fucking work and there's no timeout, so it's possible you'll just completely lose control of your computer because alt-tab and ctrl-alt-del won't work while it's sitting there trying to connect... you know, because timeouts are complicated and not a necessary part of production software. Also working account servers are hard."

i cant even get the fucking piece of shit to run. i install, patch, patch says "Patching failed" and then when i run the game it goes to a black screen for awhile then returns to desktop. any ideas?

DON'T STORE YOUR PATCHING TEMP FILES ON C:. EITHER USE THE DRIVE THE PATCH IS ON OR GIVE ME A CHOICE.

Reinstlawled.

Two issues:

A. bad_cdkey or some shit. Solution:

1.) open your c: drive and search for BF2CDKeyCheck.exe
2.) Open computer>Program files>Ea games>battlefield2> support.
3.) copy BF2CDKeyCheck.exe into the above.
4.) Re enter your bf2 registration code into Battlefield2_code.exe
6.) Run BF2CDKeyCheck.exe
7.) RE INSTALL PATCH 1.41
8.) Re enter your bf2 registration code into Battlefield2_code.exe
9.) Run BF2CDKeyCheck.exe

B. Punkbuster would not leave me ingame for more than a minute. Solution: go here and get teh file: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?pa ... rt-bf2.php

GLHF and lets do this. Rawb found BF2 for 7.99 on the internets so all you mofos better get it.
