So my computer finally bit the big one and now I have a new laptop. I want to get my files off my old hdd so i got an external enclosure and stuck it in it. Now I can see the program files and other stuff on there, but is there a way I can see the files in "My Documents"? That's where the files I want are =(


PS: I am gonna test this thing out and see if I can play with you guys again soon.

Of course the second I post on here I figure it out.

I need help as well,

I think I have some sort of lazy virus, but I'm not sure because I have used cleaning devices and whatnot and still there is this process called "fuck3" running... and then when I navigate to a "link" that is supplied in google to try and figure out what it is, I get directed elsewhere. What should I be using to remove this thing?

You might try that company's tool - supposedly the removal tool is free, but I can't guarantee how well it'd work: http://info.prevx.com/download.asp?grab=prevxcsirnd

If it won't let you download that, let me know and I'll get it to you some other way.

IRONICALLY: I was watching the first part of the BSG finale when it downloaded, or at least made itself apparent.

This device just scans... but it didn't find the fuck3 thing... it did, however, find things inside "system32"... "cloaked malware".

That sucks, but AVG seems to have removed the fuck3 thing...
