Doesn't matter what I think really.

I just do not understand why a website would have every external link reopen within itself. Example ...slashdot.

I don't understand. When I middle click the links to the interesting stories on slashdot, they open in a new tab... Is that what you mean? That they reopen within itself (where itself=firefox)?

normal click any link that goes to another site. Some sites will open a new tab/window for said link. Some replace the page you are viewing with the link you just clicked.

why normal click? anything could happen. When I middle click, I know exactly what will happen.

Are you a Firefox user? After seconds and seconds of research with Google, I read that this thing can force all left-clicked links to open in a new tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1122

web standards say left click should always open in same window. marketing assholes who want to control your computer and hate blind people sometimes make left click open in new window. fuck that and fuck them.

I know I'd rather have 60Hz than 30, but past that I don't really care.

Also, I like the motion blur in L4D. Do other games do it the same way? (I don't play anything else so I don't know.)

i never knew motion blur was a big factor, but I have been impressed about how well l4d runs on older machines. Maybe that's a big reason.

as far as 30 vs 60 goes . . . the limiting factor is your refresh rate, not your brain. But who cares about consoles running at 60 fps. It's overkill - console games are for children. and how do you twitch-shoot with a fucking joystick anyway? I can't think of any console games that I would care about getting 60 fps on.

but for us adult gamers with PCs . . . buy a 120hz monitor and run a game at that and I wager you'd notice a difference. (probably not worth the dollar investment though)

vsync makes hertz-picking pretty obsolete.

that's not what i'm referring to. if your monitor can only update 60 times a second all the vsync in the world won't make your game appear smoother than 60 frames. It will just keep your display from updating willy nilly (screen tearing.)

Maybe spend less time criticizing the US and more time fixing your country's laughably primitive conditions, dipshit.

So Dominos relaunched their recipe for pizza.
Ho hum, promises and such.

Nope. It's a godammed Roman, Greek, Italian masterpiece.
If you don't order and eat some right the fuck now then you're a limpdick.

It's that good.

All they did was slaughter the crust with butter and seasonings. Fatties.
